Ruined has the perfect ingredients for a delicious romance. Written in first-person narrative, the heroine is determined to control her future and all seems good for Chloe until she meets Ethan. Then she discovers that giving up some control has its own rewards. Beautifully told, the attraction is off-the-charts hot and doesn't feel forced despite the short time frame of their courtship. And then just when it seems things can't possibly go wrong, everything flips over and readers may be tempted to bang their heads on their books.
